In the summer of 2010, set sail for VBS fun! Feel the sea spray on your face as sails snap overhead—you and your crew will experience the deep rolling waters of God’s love! Join us as we experience stories from the book of Acts where we will learn that God’s Word is true, comforting, surprising, life-changing and best of all, God’s Word is for everyone!
High Seas Expedition is for children ages two (by June 1, 2010) through incoming 5th grade. They will experience crafts, games, Bible stories, snacks, and outstanding music that all help faith flow into real life. They can bring friends and make new friends. Mark your calendar for a week your kids are sure to love and never forget. This powerful experience starts each day at 9:00 a.m. and concludes at 12:00 p.m. Parents are encouraged to come to the Fellowship and Education Building at 11:35 a.m. each day for the Floating Finale—a daily celebration of God’s love you won’t want to miss!
Crocodile Dock June 15-19, 2009
We spent the week singing, dancing and learning about God in the swampy lands of Crocodile Dock! Each morning began with over 400 people (children, youth and adult volunteers) worshiping together and hearing stories that taught us about important characteristics of God. We learned to “Fear Not!” because God is with us, God is powerful, God does what he says he’ll do, God gives us life, and God cares for us. Every activity focused on the point of the day and brought it to life and understanding through crafts, snacks and games. An exciting addition to VBS 2009 was the use of the new Fellowship and Education Building, which made it possible for us to host so many participants comfortably. Crocodile Dock Vacation Bible School was packed full of fun adventures, good memories and new knowledge about God. It is most certainly safe to say the week was a great success!
Our goal at Covenant Presbyterian Church is to make Sunday mornings the best part of every child’s week! We want to provide a safe place where kids can grow down, out, and up in their walk with Jesus Christ. Serving God’s children is an honor and one that we enjoy and look forward to each and every day.
