Passionate Worship
Worship Times
Passionate, reverent and joyful worship of God the Father, Son and Holy Spirit is the center of Covenant life. As we respond to God’s claim and redemptive action in Jesus Christ, we are transformed and renewed. In worship, we offer ourselves to God and are inspired and challenged to continue our worship in our daily living through sacrificial service and respectful evangelism, loving the world that Christ loved.

Covenant offers a variety of worship services:
Sundays
- 8:15 a.m. Traditional Service
The 8:15 a.m. is a traditional service musically led by piano and song leader. The service offers weekly communion with worshipers surrounding the communion table. Meets in the Sanctuary. - 9:30 and 11:00 a.m. Traditional Services
The 9:30 and 11:00 a.m. services are largely traditional, combining standard Reformed liturgy with choral leadership. Holy Communion is celebrated monthly. Meets in the Sanctuary. - 10:45 a.m. ten45 Contemporary Service
- Service for Wholeness
The Service for Wholeness is held on the first Sunday of each month at 4:00 p.m. This candlelit, contemplative service incorporates Taize-style music, prayer and God’s word. The service allows all who are present to offer prayers and thanksgiving for God’s promise of wholeness, healing, recovery and renewal. Holy Communion is celebrated during the Service for Wholeness. Service for Wholeness meets in the Chapel, Fellowship and Education Building Room 100.
Service of Morning Prayer (Wednesdays)
The Service of Morning Prayer for early risers—young, old, and in between—is a brief, midweek morning worship service held in the Parlor (east side of the Sanctuary) from 7-7:30 a.m. This brief, lay-led service generally follows the set format for Morning Prayer in our Book of Common Worship—rich in liturgical and spontaneous prayers, purposeful silences, a sung, newly translated metrical psalm, and scripture readings drawn from the lectionary passages for the coming Sunday.
We hope you’ll join us each Sunday morning in worship!
