Walking the Mourner's Path
These grief support/recovery sessions are for those who have experienced the death of a loved one recently or in the last few years. Mourners help one another learn ways to honor loved ones, seek spiritual direction and discover Christ’s promise of comfort.
For eight weeks, 8 to 10 members meet for 90 minutes. There is a workbook that offers questions for reflection, as well as many exercises that will help you to define a new relationship with your loved one through Christ. With the help of two trained facilitators and a member of the clergy, this group will help you face the death of your loved one and help you find a way to go on.
When:
Walking the Mourner’s Path meets in the Winter and in the Fall. The sessions last eight weeks and are limited to 10 people each. If you are interested, contact our leader to find out about our next class.
