VBS Missions
Kids don’t just have a great time at Vacation Bible School focusing on all the wonderful things that God has done, they give back. Children attending VBS are asked to bring new socks and underwear or school supply items and place them in bins scattered throughout the church. The donations go to the Manos de Cristo Back-to-School Clothes Closet.
When:
During the week of VBS, June 15-19, 2009.
How can I help/participate?
Kids can help by bringing in these valuable donations of new underwear, socks, and school supplies. Church members can help by
- administering this program during VBS.
- marketing the program and ensuring that VBS parents know about the donations.
- decorating the bin (In the past, the bin has been volcano or a jeep, making kids notice it and want to contribute.).
