CROP Walk
Communities Responding to Overcome Poverty (CROP) Hunger Walks are community fund-raising events that bring together people of all faiths to raise money for international relief and development, as well as local hunger-fighting. CROP events began almost 60 years ago. Today CROP Hunger Walks are the only events that raise awareness and funds to address both international and local needs.
When:
The CROP Walk takes place in Austin annually on the first weekend in March; Covenant typically walks on Sunday.
How can I help/participate?
You can help with the CROP Walk by
- walking in the event.
- donating to walkers in the event.
- volunteering to help with the event.
