Covenant's Mission Committee
The mission committee has opportunities to serve in missions. We have the following opportunities open this year. Member of sub-committees do not normally attend the mission committee meetings but work with the sub-committee chair to plan, carry out, and evaluate work items under their charge from the mission committee.
Member of Evangelism Sub-Committee
This committee is charged with the special knowledge required to evaluate and engage the Church's evangelistic outreach in Austin, in our region, and around the world, including mission education and development within our own local church and the Church at large. This education charge is new and volunteers are needed to develop it.
Member of Communication Sub-Committee
This committee is new and charged with capturing history and memories of mission and ministries in real and attractive ways so that stories can be told to help transform lives and glorify God. Volunteers are needed to develop this new and exciting work.
Member of Missionary Care Sub-Committee
This committee is new and charged with providing all non-financial care for all missionaries and longer term ministry leaders. Volunteers are needed to develop this important task!
