MISSION TRIP TO ZAMBIA
For the third year, Covenant, Austin Christians and e3Partners will join Zambians in proclaiming the power and love of Jesus. Come join in this church planting and medical mission on July 16-29, 2008. You need no special skills to share what God has done in your life with others. You will have the opportunity to see the Holy Spirit at work in the lives of those who go and those who receive. The medical outreach team works in concert with the church planting teams to create interest and provide living, compassionate care. Last year, the Covenant team cared for more than 700 patients and fitted more than 600 pairs of eyeglasses - all as gifts in the name of Christ. Our dental care was a special blessing to many Zambians. We are praying that a dentist will hear the call to be a part of this team for 2008.

If you have interest or would like further information, contact Suzanne McFarlane at smcf2222@austin.rr.com, or Harold Skaggs at h_skaggs@att.net.

Easy access to the Bible!
Come dive into Luke with the Caravan Class on Sunday mornings! In each class we:
1. Read the scripture out loud
2. Discuss what it says
3. Consider how we may apply it to our lives.

We welcome talkers and listeners, as well as married and single adults of all ages. Caravan meets every Sunday at 9:30 a.m. in Sanctuary 104. For more information, contact Mark or Monica Wells at 458-3231 or moniwells@earthlink.net.

Pregnancy and Infant Loss Support

This interdenominational group is open to any person who has experienced miscarriage, stillbirth, or infant death. If you or someone you know has experienced a loss, our group meets the second Monday of each month, from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m., in the church parlor. For more information, contact Ashley Ellison, aellison@austin.rr.com, or Shellie Crow, scrow@wabsa.com. Childcare is available by advance reservation. Contact Christy Milam at cmilam@covenant.org to reserve childcare.

Men In Transition
If you or a man you know is facing divorce, separation, or other family challenge, a supportive group of men might be helpful. We are men of different ages at varying stages in the negotiation of these painful transitions. We meet Mondays from 5:30-6:30pm. Our format is relaxed and flexible and currently involves using Christ-centered readings to spur thought and discussion. This group is not intended as a substitute for mental health services but exists to offer Christian support to brothers during a rough time. Whether you are a member of the Covenant community or not, you are welcome to join us. Contact Mark Trifiro with questions and to confirm meeting place (275-6776 or mtrifiro@austin.utexas.edu.)

MoMs Group
The MoMs (Mothers of Munchkins) group is a support group for the mothers of young children. This group meets twice a month in the parlor at 9:30 a.m. We will meet the 1st and 3rd Mondays each month. Childcare reservations should be made to Christy Milam at cmilam@covenant.org or 334-3020 at least 48 hours in advance. For more information on the MoMs group and their programs, please contact either Kathleen Reish at 241-0592 or Susan Gretzinger at 219-7431.
