Authentic Fellowship
Adult Fellowship
In addition to the study and service opportunities that you’ll find here on our website, we are pleased to offer many opportunities for adults to fellowship together. These range from our Wednesday night dinners to our various music ensembles. Here are a few opportunities that you won’t find listed in other categories on our site.
Christ Centered Yoga
“Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your body.” 1 Cor 6:19
Practice good stewardship of your body, while deepening your walk with Christ by joining us for Christ-Centered Yoga. Instruction is in the Iyengar style of Hatha Yoga. Morning classes are taught by Sharon Johnson, a talented and longtime yoga teacher. Each class ends with a Christian reading or Scripture.
When:
One-hour yoga class meets Sundays at 5 p.m. and Wednesdays at 8 a.m. September-April (8:30 a.m. May-August). A $5-10 donation is recommended.
A class also meets Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8:30-10 a.m. The cost is $15 per class, with a discounted rate if you sign up for the month in advance.
All classes meet in FE 107. Yoga is for everyone—all body shapes, sizes and ages. Members of Covenant and non-members are equally welcome. We encourage you to try the class by attending your first session for free.

MOM’s Group
Covenant MoM’s Group is a group for “Mothers of Munchkins.” New, expecting and experienced moms meet on the first and third Monday of each month from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. to share informative and helpful presentations, parenting ideas and general support.
All meetings are open to Covenant members and non-members alike. Childcare is available from our wonderful Covenant childcare providers, and infants are always welcome in our meetings. Come join us for coffee and a snack. We will provide interesting topics, support from understanding moms, and a well-deserved break as a busy, hard-working MoM!
Please make childcare reservations at least 48 hours in advance by contacting Childcare at childcare@covenant.org or 334-3020. For questions about the MoM’s Group, please contact Monica Wells at moniwells-texas@mwells.org or Rebecca Hendriks at texiwi@verizon.net.

Each month, the Armchair Travelers enjoy new adventures all over the world. If you enjoy seeing new sights and fun places along with great fellowship and wonderful cookies, then this activity is made just for you. Armchair Travelers is open to anyone that wants to see the world through someone else’s eyes and enjoys wonderfully good fellowship.
Meeting on the first Thursday of each month at 7:00 in Eaton Hall, Armchair Travelers is a group that comes together to watch video and slideshows of travel to exotic locations around the world. The presentations are personally narrated by those who made the journey, making Armchair Travelers the “next best thing” to being there!
