Nico and Pam Daams
Wycliffe Bible Translators—South Pacific
Nico is originally from the Netherlands and Pam from Houston. They have worked with Wycliffe Bible Translators since 1977 originally with Polynesian groups in the Solomon Islands and Micronesia. They now lead a team of people working in various projects across the Pacific—from French Polynesia to Papua New Guinea. Increasingly the focus is also on recruiting, training and encouraging Pacific Islanders, so that Bible translation work can continue in coming generations.
Nico and Pam use Melbourne as a base, but travel extensively in the Pacific.
Pam’s birthday is June 30. Nico’s birthday is August 12. Their anniversary in ministry is July 1977.
